Sierra Sacramento Valley Medicine is like the heartbeat of our medical community! It's the official magazine of the Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society (SSVMS), and it's all about celebrating the wonderful world of medicine. We're passionate about preserving the history, embracing the art, and advancing the science of medicine. But it's not just about the doctors—it's about everyone's health and happiness.


In our magazine, we're all about sharing knowledge and sparking conversations. It's a cozy corner where local physicians and healthcare heroes can come together, exchange ideas, and talk about the things that matter most in healthcare. With a circulation of more than 6,500 and published six times per year (digitally with one print edition per year), SSV Medicine reaches practicing and retired physicians, medical students, local elected officials, media colleagues, and even your friendly community health organizations.
